Everything is happening so quickly, but not unwelcomed. I was telling one of my good friends the other day how long I have had my eye set on this boy. It's been quite a road we've been on. We've been through a lot together and over the past year and half have both changed and grown so much. My good friend Natalie was able to meet us in Tucson for our engagement photo shoot. I had my eye set on an old miniature golf course that is now closed. Because we, (Ricky and Natalie) wanted to be law abiding citizens we were unable to shoot on the Private Property. Tucson has so much character, the reason I wanted to go there. We were able to find a great industrial setting with amazing colors and textures. We also jointed the bums in downtown Tucson for a cozy picnic. Here they are. Thanks again Nat!

In June of 2006 Ricky and I worked at a Mexican restaurant together, (ah Gardunos.)
Ricky first approached me, "so, you're LDS?"
"Yeah."
"Which one do you go to."
"The Mormon one."
"No... like which building."
"Oh... Guadalupe and Elliot."
"Can I come?"
"Yeah! Ofcourse!"
So, he meets me at the church. Through all of the meeting I was explaining, "These are the hymns, this is the sacrament.." etc.
That night we hung out.
He says, "So, I have something to tell you."
"Yeah?"
"My parents met at BYU."
"So, you're mormon?"
"Yeah."
(Chin drop)
He goes on, "I served my mission in California."
That is Brittany and Ricky's first date.. LOL. Ideal way to start a relationship, I still haven't decided, but it worked for him! We'll be getting married on July 17th, 2010. I can't wait.
I'm such a sucker for he deep brown eyes, his amazing personality, the way he hugs me and presses his nose to my cheek, his testimony, his great family and perfect smile... of course the list goes on.
Please stayed tuned to many more stories. to laughs. to trials. to accomplishment.
