Favorite new pass time...

...staring at my baby, I mean belly
Little baby Franco is already so cute! I've not been feeling well the past few days so we've had some time to hang out. He's been moving so much lately! It's now my favorite to just sit here and watch him moving in my tummy. I can tell he's getting so big. The other day I was sitting at work and could feel him kicking my lower stomach then all the sudden I felt him much higher on the opposite side. I couldn't believe he reached that far. I guess it makes sense... he is the size of a carrot! lol
He's going to be here before we know it.
Oh, and I think we decided on a name!
Should we keep it a secret? :)

Growing...

Things have been crazy around the Franco house.
Good crazy.
WE'RE BUYING A HOUSE!
About a week ago we found out the bank accepted our offer. We were not expecting this for weeks, maybe even months. In fact, we didn't even know if we would get it. The property was a short sale however very close to being put up for auction, we were all a little skeptical. Luckily, it worked out and if all goes as planned we'll be closing at the end of March.
I can't wait to decorate!
Between settling on a baby name and color schemes I can't seem to get a good night's sleep.
Who needs sleep though, right? ;)

Here are a few photos...

Also, this past Saturday I hit 20 WEEKS! Half way there. Here is the baby bump.

It's definitely getting bigger. People can tell I'm pregnant, not just getting fat! It's been fun. I get lots of belly looks. I suppose that part of the prego package. :)

Everything is growing.
My belly
Our little family.
Our relationship...
I love my husband so much. I can't believe how great things have been. How can I not be happy when he makes me laugh daily? Sometimes I just can't believe the things that come out of his mouth, he's so much fun! He does dishes, laundry, takes out the trash, let's me have the covered parking spot and bonus- he's smokin hot!
We've also been growing spiritually. We can't believe all the blessing we've seen by making small changes and setting goals together.

So as great as everything has been, it's still very stressful. With the house closing so soon we had to find someone to take over our apartment. The guy we found needs a place in March.
Luckly we have family! We'll be living with Ricky's sister Andrea for the next few weeks, till the house closes. If anyone is free Saturday we will welcome any moving help. :)

The Bump

18 week baby belly!
I have recently been feeling my little man moving. It is the best. It is still very faint but I know it's him. Today I had been getting a little worried because I didn't feel him yesterday evening or this morning. All day long I've been a little worried. Just now I sat down, got in comfy clothes turned off the television and waited, sure enough I felt my little boy. He knew his mama needed him to say hi.
I still can't believe I'm going to be a mom. My belly is growing, we bought a crib, we've been talking about names, but it's still a little unreal. I just can't wait to hold him in my arms and kiss him on his sweet little head and wrap his tiny fingers around mine. Then it will be real. I think more real than anything I've ever felt before. Life will be in true perspective. This is why I am here.

I'm going to be a mom.

Moving right along

I can't even believe I'm almost at my half way mark. I have been so incredibly blessed with an easy pregnancy. Not quite sure what I did to desearve it. I've been able to stay very active with sand volleyball, working out and running. I find that when I lay around, (like I'm doing now) I start to get a headache and not feel to well. So Ricky and I have tried to pick a hike or something active to do on Saturdays. Last Saturday we ran London's Run with the Johnsons. We decided to run the 10K. I was a little worried on how my body would handle the 6.2 miles, but everything went great. The race was heald at Schept Farm in Queen Creek. The weather was perfect, there were port of poddys on the trail! (whew) and inspirational signs posted through out. For a pregnant lady it was actually a bit of a mean trick, everytime I read a sign I would get all choked up. It's not that easy running and crying. lol Oh baby hormones! p.s. I totally beat Ricky. :)

At work I have a light bright on my desk, this is my latest design. I had someone ask me, why is that baby in a jar? lol

You may notice in the top of the picture the small paper chain dividing the two cubes. On the other side of that cube is one of my best friends, Brooke Johnson. She just returned from maternity leave and by some miracle we were sat next to each other, not even on the same team anymore. So basically we eat all day and talk about babies. She made me this chain so we could count down the days. It's been fun, I can't believe how much smaller it's gotten. Little baby boy will be here before we know it!

It's a boy!

Will post more later, have to do some online shopping! There are cute boy clothes out there, now I have to find them! :)

P.S. We are thrilled! The Franco name will live on. Can't wait to meet our little Stinky!

Here we go!

Friday night we were invited to our good friends Jay and Brooke Johnson. We had a lot of fun playing Bunco, eating lots of yummy food and best of all lighting fireworks, well watching Jay light fireworks.

Saturday morning we headed to Picacho Peak. The hike was amazing! From the road it doesn't look possible to hike to the top, but it certainly is! They've attached cables, kind of like the rails at Camelback, but they are all over. You have to use the cables to get up the back side of the mountain. It makes you feel a lot cooler than you really are! We went with a The Dahls, close friends of ours. I was a little concerned with my ability to make it to the top. However, we did it, Ricky, I and little Stinky. What a great way to start 2011!
